Registrations Open for the Clay Station’s Ceramic Art Teacher Training Program

Clay Station is happy to announce registration for the much awaited Ceramic Art Teacher Training Program, a comprehensive teacher training course that focuses on ceramics as the medium. This course will prepare you for a rewarding career as an art educator honing not just pottery skills, also the facilitation skills needed to bring the best in your students. At the end of the course, trainees who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate and the chance to be a Clay Station associate.

Clay Station Signs up with Azim Premji Foundation

Among the organization’s many initiatives for the underprivileged, The Azim Premji Foundation (Bangalore) runs two schools for the children of migrant population like construction labourers. With an intention of including clay as a creative medium in the curriculum, Clay Station is partnering with the foundation to train their art educators as well as set up in-house art studios with the right material and equipment.

Introducing Clay to Deepika, a Special School

Clay Station has been approached to train special educators from Deepika School to introduce natural clay as a medium for art therapy. A school for children with learning disabilities, its focus has always been on all-round development giving prime importance to building coordination and creative skills. We will be introducing Deepika’s teachers to various basic techniques, assisting them to create a curriculum in clay art that delivers its therapeutic benefits, which can be applied in other such schools.

Giving NIFT a Taste of Pottery

Clay Station is one of the sponsors of the silver jubilee of Spectrum, NIFT Bangalore’s annual college fest. A three day extravaganza that hosts over 2000 students that throng the campus for the various competitions, rock show, deejay night and fashion show will be treated to a taste of pottery at our stall. Besides showcasing some of our products, we will offer wheel demonstrations and a clay pit for visitors to experience the joy of working with clay.
