Imagination in Clay – A Clay Workshop for Young Artists (8-12years)

To introduce children to the fundamental techniques of hand-building with clay, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and an appreciation for three-dimensional art.

Glazing Session: 2 (Dip glaze technique, 1 day)

Note : Articles for the glazing session will be selected by instructor on  (9th May)

Glazing Session : (10:30 am to 3:30 pm ) 16th May, Friday

Article pick-up date: 21stMay-  25th May 
Post   13th May , the articles will not be saved any further in the studio.

Prerequisites for Children:
Enthusiasm and Interest: A genuine interest in creating and working with their hands is the most important prerequisite!
Comfort with Getting Messy: Working with clay inevitably involves getting hands (and sometimes clothes!) a little dirty.

 

Materials to be brought by students:
Plastic Covers ,Scissors, Protractor ,compass, Pen, Small Notebook, Pencil, CD-markers.

 

 

ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTOR:

Ishita Nagar

Ishita Nagar is a sculptor with a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A) from Banaras Hindu University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) from Kurukshetra University. Her work has been showcased at events and participated at camps.

 Ishita also explored ceramics through intensive studio work at Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal.

Currently a Resident Artist at Clay Station, Bangalore, she previously served as a Sculpture Mentor at Alive Studio, Gurgaon, and as an Artist in Residence at Dharamkot Studio. Her work blends technical precision with emotional depth, reflecting a contemporary perspective while inspiring emerging artists through her mentorship and creative practice.

 

NOTE:

1Refund

  • On or before 7 days (5th May)  - Full refund
  • On or before 2 days (9th May)  - 50 % refund
  • Cancellation after (10th May) - No refund
  • All the refunds will be processed within  15 working days post cancellation

2. Transfer

  • Transfer to another person - If a person is not able to attend the program for any personal reasons, they can transfer their slot to another person for the program they have registered for, and inform the studio at least 1 day before to add them in the group.
  • Transfer to another class - Transfer to an alternative class date is not possible once you register. You will need to cancel the registration for the existing program (Cancellation and refund policy will apply) and re-register for the new program

3.Missed Sessions -

  • Claystation will not offer refunds for the sessions missed
  • Claystation reserves the right to cancel or change the schedule of classes. The participant will receive a full refund in the event of cancellation. However, if the classes are rescheduled, you can opt for shifting to the next batch/postponed date or take a refund.

4.Studio Closure:

  • If the studio is forced to close due to factors outside of our control such as severe weather conditions, or an infectious disease such as Covid-19, we will make an effort to reschedule the paused sessions. However we will not offer any refunds
