Instructor Brief:

Kavya Ganesan considers herself a history geek and won't shut up about it. She began her journey with clay very early in her life but took a really long time to really connect with the material. She takes inspiration from nature and the world around her but by far her favourite projects are those that take inspiration from historical objects. She enjoys creating clean intricate pieces and the smaller the better. Clay teaches a lot and could greatly influence the way individuals view themselves and the world around them. She thus encourages everyone in her life to try their hand at the art or atleast experience the material. For this project, Kavya has taken influences from the Hoysala temples in Belur and Halebid.
