October Weekday “From Clay to Creation” : Intensive Beginner Hand-building program

Discover and explore  the timeless art of handbuilding, one of the oldest and most versatile techniques in ceramics. This course is designed to help beginners build a strong foundation, focusing on key methods like pinching, coiling, and slab work.

Class Size: 8 (first come, first served)

Total Classes: 8 + 5 flexible practice sessions

Glazing Session: 2 (Dip glaze technique, 1 day)

SESSION DATES (Instructor led):
15^th  October -  (10:30 am to 5:30 pm )
16^th October-  10:30 am to 1:30 pm  | 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm Practice without Instructor
17^th October-  (10:30 am to 5:30 pm )
18^th October-  2:30 pm to 5:30 pm | 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm Practice without Instructor  (Note : Articles for the glazing session will be selected by instructor)

Take up flexible practice sessions post your course to get better with throwing
(Inform the studio a day prior between 10:30am to 5:30am to book your slot)

Glazing Session : (10:30 am to 5:30 pm ) 15^th  November Friday

Article pick-up date: 22^nd November - 29^th November
Post 29^th November, the articles will not be saved any further in the studio.
(the studio will be closed on 31st October  and  1st November  )

NOTE: Studio is Closed    on the 31st October  and 1st November  for Deepavali and Kannada Rajyothsava
Please go through the dates, time and the respective days of the course sessions. 

Materials to be brought by students: Plastic Covers ,Scissors, Protractor ,compass, Pen, Small Notebook, Pencil, CD-markers.

ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTOR:

Navya rao 

Navya is a dynamic individual who wears multiple hats with finesse. With a background in architecture, she has a knack for designing. Her path took an unforeseen turn as she embraced a banking role, where her analytical thinking shone. Yet, Navya's creative soul yearned for expression.

Exploring clay became a revelation, fueling her newfound passion. Through this artistic journey, Navya continues to expand her skill set, dedicating herself to a lifelong pursuit of self-expression and mastery as an artist.

NOTE:

1. Refund

• On or before 7 days (8^th October)  - Full refund
• On or before 2 days (13^th October)  - 50 % refund
• Cancellation after (13^th October) - No refund
• All the refunds will be processed only after 15 working days post cancellation

2. Transfer

• Transfer to another person - If a person is not able to attend the program for any personal reasons, they can transfer their slot to another person for the program they have registered for, and inform the studio at least 1 day before to add them in the group.
• Transfer to another class - Transfer to an alternative class date is not possible once you register. You will need to cancel the registration for the existing program (Cancellation and refund policy will apply) and re-register for the new program

3.Missed Sessions -

• Claystation will schedule 1 make up session during the course.
   Kindly  Connect with Studio team   for the date . 
• Claystation will not offer refunds for the sessions missed
• Claystation reserves the right to cancel or change the schedule of classes. The participant will receive a full refund in the event of cancellation. However, if the classes are rescheduled, you can opt for shifting to the next batch/postponed date or take a refund.

4.Studio Closure:

• If the studio is forced to close due to factors outside of our control such as severe weather conditions, or an infectious disease such as Covid-19, we will make an effort to reschedule the paused sessions. However we will not offer any refunds
