The Glaze Club at Clay Station is a platform where members can explore glaze recipes together. It's a global community of glaze enthusiasts learning and experimenting with glaze formulation. With support from Clay Station's Glaze team, members can freely pursue their interests and share their discoveries with others. Whether you're new to glazing or an expert, the club provides a welcoming space for everyone to connect and learn from each other.

We are offering a 3 month glaze club subscription that invites people to explore beginner-intermediate level glaze formulation to start with.

The club membership is open to - 

1. Anyone who understands the fundamentals of glaze formulation
2. Can utilize the glaze calculator tool, i.e. Glazy, to create a base glaze recipe

Framework for 3 month membership

• June 1st, July 6th and August 3rd   -  10:30 am -1:30 pm
  Online discussion on a new topic in glaze formulation with Claystation’s Glaze team. Formulation tasks shared within the group. Members are expected to work on their recipes related to the task on Glazy for next two weeks. 

• June 15th, July 20th and August 17th  -  10:30 am - 1:30 pm
  Claystation will have a 3 hour open studio space kept for members to mix their recipes and give their glaze test tiles for firing. One full 818 Skutt kiln cone 6 firing will be reserved on this day for glaze club members. Members are expected to load the kiln in guidance of the Glaze team.

• June 22nd, July 27th and August 24th  I  10:30 am - 1:30 pm
  The members will have an offline discussion (will also be available online) with the team to discuss their outcomes and address their queries.

Material included in offline membership:

1. Following base glaze material will be available for members while mixing their recipes during the open studio hours. These materials will be available in the studio for members to use during open studio hours.
   - Silica
   - China Clay
   - Potash Feldspar
   - Sodium Feldspar
   - Whiting
   - Dolomite.
   Colorants (metal oxides) are not included in the membership. Members are expected to buy desired colorants from our online website. Link. It takes around 7-10 business days for any online order to reach you within the country. 

2. One cone 6 firing for glaze test tiles is reserved at Claystation studio for our offline members. Members are expected to carry their individual bisque tiles to the open studio slot (bisque firing is not included in the glaze membership, they can bisque the tiles independent of the club structure)
3. A three hour open studio slot is booked for members to collectively mix and apply their glaze recipe explorations in the studio. To avoid waiting time (due to limited glaze equipment) it is advisable for members to get their individual(or in groups) weighing scales, 100 ml beaker, spatulas and 100 sieve mesh.
   

NOTE: Glaze club is an open sharing platform for glaze explorations where everyone is transparent in sharing their recipes with others. Kindly take up the membership only when you feel comfortable with this idea.

Members are responsible for cleaning tables, maintaining studio tools and also avoiding contamination of base glaze materials. 

NOTE:

1. Refund

• On or before 7 days (25^th May)  - Full refund
• On or before 2 days (30^th May)  - 50 % refund
• Cancellation after (30^thMay ) - No refund
• All the refunds will be processed only after 15 working days post cancellation

2. Transfer

• Transfer to another person - If a person is not able to attend the program for any personal reasons, they can transfer their slot to another person for the program they have registered for, and inform the studio at least 1 day before to add them in the group.
• Transfer to another class - Transfer to an alternative class date is not possible once you register. You will need to cancel the registration for the existing program (Cancellation and refund policy will apply) and re-register for the new program

3.Missed Sessions -

• Claystation will not offer refunds for the sessions missed

4.Studio Closure:

• If the studio is forced to close due to factors outside of our control such as severe weather conditions, or an infectious disease such as Covid-19, we will make an effort to reschedule the paused sessions. However we will not offer any refunds
